TELEPHONE RELAYS

The W.L. Jenkins Company offers relays for most common telephone ringing applications. Item A is a solid-state plug-in Tel Relay designed for insertion in standard AC receptacles. It can actuate any 115 VAC device up to five amps rated current during the on time of the telephone ring cycle. The relay is used for indoor or outdoor use with AC loads up to 230 VAC, and DC loads up to 115 VDC.

DRY CONTACT INTERFACE

The Series DCI-24-24 provides the power to operate a wide variety of VDC telephone signaling products. Utilizing the limited current handling capability of a telephone systems “night ring” dry contact closure for activation, the DCI-24-24 delivers 24 VDC at 300 mA.

Compact and versatile, the DCI-24-24, with its six-foot power cord, can be wall-mounted. Its quick-connect input and output terminals require no special tools for hookup.

The DCI-24-24 can power multiple telephone extension alerts, while isolating the load from the contact closure.

One DCI-24-24 can activate another DCI-24-24 to power different groups of telephone extension alerts.
